Candidate Endorsement

Each election cycle the AP-PAC attempts to identify and support candidates that will not only be good Arkansas legislators, but will also understand and be sensitive to the myriad of issues facing pharmacy. This year one such candidate is Jamie Darling. 

Jamie Darling is running for Arkansas State Representative in District 58.  Jamie is the daughter of Jimmie Darling a pharmacist in Newport, and niece of Ed Darling, a pharmacist in Hope. She operates a gift shop business adjacent to her father’s pharmacy and observes the pharmacy business daily. She has been very active regarding the issues of pharmacists and the challenges they face.

The AP-PAC would like to express full support of Jamie Darling and urge you to support her in this heated race (three opponents) with your vote and contribution.

The Arkansas Pharmacy Foundation 2008 CE in Paradise will be held October 18 – 28, 2008 aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s ship, the Jewel.  We will cruise from New York City, passing the Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline on our way up the Northeast coast and down the St. Lawrence Seaway to Quebec City.  Along the way, we will stop in Boston, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Sydney, Nova Scotia.  Eight (8) hours of continuing education will be available during the cruise.  Only a limited number of cabins remain.
