MTM Deadline Correction

ARKANSAS PHARMACISTS ARE IN JEOPARDY

OF LOSING THEIR MTM OPPORTUNITIES!!!!

According to updated information received by APA, ALL MTM cases through Mirixa (formerly known as Community MTM) with a “Due Date” prior to and including 09/20/2007 must be fully completed, documented, and billed by October 31, 2007.  After this date, these cases will be removed from your Mirixa user profile.  Please note that these cases are NOT being reassigned to other pharmacies NOR will they be completed by the University of Arizona call center.  The patient will simply get a letter stating that they will not be able to receive MTM for the 2007 benefit year.

IT IS VITAL THAT YOU SCHEDULE, ADMINISTER, DOCUMENT, AND BILL ALL OF YOUR MTM CASES WITH A “DUE DATE PRIOR TO 09/20/07” BY OCTOBER 31, 2007!

All remaining MTM cases with a due date after 09/20/2007 should be completed no later than Thanksgiving.  APA urges all pharmacists to take advantage of the opportunity to provide and get reimbursed for providing MTM services to your patients.
